Purposes of research

Audience and market research
1. What did you do? -  When looking online about mental illnesses getting the information about it and looking for documentaries about it I couldn't find much on it. also, it was surprising to learn that a lot of people with mental illnesses don't go get help because they consider mental illness as weak.
2. Explain the audience research from you project - Our target audience is aimed at people suffering with mental illnesses and letting them know they can get help, that's why we had someone with one of the most common mental illnesses on our documentary and also a part informing people on how to get help or how to help someone with a mental illness.

Productive research

1. What did you do? - Paul and I decided that the documentary would be about mental illnesses because people with it normally don't go to a doctor to get help. The documentary was made without any money, all of the equipment was taken out for free and everything else was provided by the college or by actors. Most of the recording was done in College the rest was down the high street.
